The Story Behind Fifty-Seven Third: Serving Our Community with Purpose and Grace

At Fifty-Seven Third, we believe beauty is more than skin deep. It’s about serving others with love, kindness, and grace, just as we’re called to do. But the story of our spa is more than a business—it’s a reflection of God’s purpose in our lives and our mission to make a difference in our community.

The name Fifty-Seven Third is a tribute to Psalm 57:3, which reads: “He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. My God will send forth His unfailing love and faithfulness.” This verse has always spoken to my heart, reminding me that God is faithful, even in the hardest times. It’s a reminder that He goes before us, guiding us and sending His love and care in every season.

This guiding scripture inspired the name Fifty-Seven Third, but the name also has a deeper meaning tied to the community we serve—area code 573. Our spa was created to be a place where women in our region can feel cared for, loved, and supported, just as God cares for us. Through our services, we aim to reflect God’s love and faithfulness by nurturing our clients, building meaningful relationships, and making an impact in our local community.

For over a decade, I worked in the beauty and medical fields, gaining experience and refining my skills. But my heart always longed to do something different—something where I could serve others in a deeper way, offering more than just skincare treatments. I wanted to create a space where women could come to feel valued and cared for, both inside and out. In Cape Girardeau, I saw a need for a business that didn’t just provide excellent results but did so with authenticity, kindness, and respect. That’s how Fifty-Seven Third was born.
